Lisa has over 15 years experience leading the office functions for small and mid-sized companies in the New York region. She managed two dozen market researchers at Reis Reports, a real estate market research firm in Manhattan; she led all office operations for the New York and Los Angeles offices of Peregrine Brokerage Inc, a Hong Kong-based brokerage firm; she ran all office operations of a wireless Internet startup (Bling Software Inc) for two years. Lisa is frequently sought for her organization skills, efficiency, and ability to get things done.
After years of working in New York city as an office manager, Lisa shifted her attention to a non-profit organization near her home in Westchester County. As the Vice President of the Board, Lisa led all fund raising events and meetings for the Croton Harmon Education Foundation. She raised over $100,000 from a small community to benefit local public schools. Her primary fundraising event was a major dinner dance and silent auction, held each year at different venues near the Hudson River. Lisa would coordinate all donations, volunteers, vendors, attendees, equipment rentals, local town permits, local police, parking, and more.
Lisa later shifted her attention to another non-profit: Chamber Dance Project. Lisa assisted the Artistic Director, Board and staff in fostering excellence and growth in all areas of the company's operations. She planned all aspects of the company's touring, promoted workshops for New York City public schools, and coordinated their Season Benefit. Lisa was responsible for dancer schedules, performance venue coordination, and grant cultivation. In the office, she managed the client database, prepared and mailed marketing materials, handled ticket sales and acknowledgments, then prepared and delivered a monthly e-newsletter.
While at Chamber Dance, Lisa had several requests from other companies who needed help organizing their office operations. In early 2008, Lisa came up with the idea to package office services and sell high-end, professional services in an affordable, easy-to-buy format. The name? Office To Go combines the needs of an office in a "to go," or outsourced format.
